If you are looking to add a versatile timepiece to your collection, a chronograph could be exactly what you are looking for. A chronograph features a timer usually on two or three subdials. While Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin helped popularize the chronograph when they took their Omega Speedmasters on the first walk on the moon, you don’t have to pay astronomical prices if you want one. Here are my picks for the 9 best affordable chronographs watches under $100 for 2018 plus a bonus best affordable Omega Speedmaster homage pick!
I needed to get a watch to go with a black suit and the under $100 Orient Symphony checked off a lot of boxes. While I love the value the Seiko 5 line brings, Orient delivers a great entry-level automatic movement in a bigger 41mm case. I was very excited to get this watch over the weekend and hope to wear it alot in the upcoming weeks. I hope you enjoy my Orient Symphony Unboxing!
The Casio F-91W is legendary. For 25 years, this has been one of the world’s best selling watches year after year. It’s probably the most affordable watch on the planet starting around $10. It’s been ironically picture on both the wrists of Barack Obama and Osama Bin Ladin. As I am beginning to start the digital category of the blog, I knew that the F-91W had to be the first watch that I reviewed! I couldn’t resist anymore and ordered it over the weekend. Check out my Casio F-91W unboxing!
When I was choosing my first automatic watch, it was crazy to even consider something other than a Seiko 5. I was looking for a dress watch with an automatic movement, classic watch face, a display caseback, and style that could range from casual to formal. The SNK789 checked off all of those boxes and has become a core part of my watch collection. When I saw it on sale on Amazon for under $50, I had to get it. Since it was a Seiko, I also knew I was getting a high-quality watch at a great value. After a couple months on my wrist, here is my Seiko SNK789 review!
